Seulkee Park

I am an Academic Research Professor in the Department of English Linguistics and Literature at Kyung Hee University in Seoul. My primary research interests lie in English syntax, discourse structure, and corpus linguistics, with a particular focus on elliptical constructions, including but not limited to stripping, nominal ellipsis, and fragmental structures such as sluicing. Recently, my work has expanded to focus-sensitive coordination (e.g., much less, let alone) and to AI-integrated linguistic research that explores how Large Language Models (LLMs) can be integrated with corpus-based approaches to study Korean discourse and language pedagogy. I am also conducting an empirical investigation into AI-human intuition gaps in the interpretation of double negation in Korean, by integrating corpus data and acceptability judgments through LLM-based analysis.
